Andy Roberts first trained as an economist and worked in the field of Corporate Finance for over 14 years in the UK, US, Japan and Australia. Whilst living in Australia he re-trained as a Life Coach and Yoga teacher.
He is currently studying for a Masters degree in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of East London. He has also studied Emotional intelligence theory with Susan David and is a certified MSCEIT practitioner. In addition, Andy attended Strengths Finding coaching workshops at CAPP with Alex Linley.
His passion is to help foster creativity, productivity and above all wellbeing and happiness in all areas of peoples' lives, especially the workplace. To do this he has created imaginative training courses which fuse ideas from Life Coaching, Positive Psychology and Eastern philosophies (using Vedic meditation and Vipassana techniques).
Andy volunteers with a South London youth development charity called Your story (www.yourstory.org.uk). In 2008 he created an 8 week programme for young people using ideas from Positive Psychology and Life coaching. The first attendees from the Lilian Bayliss school in Vauxhall, South London completed the course in July 2008. New courses commence in October 2008.
Andy focuses on two main areas in his corporate training:
